Vicki Rogers has been the midday air personality on Lite 106.9 since 2001!
Vicki graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Telecommunications. She's worked in almost every facet of the advertising business...media buyer, account executive, copy writing, promotions, voice, and on-camera talent. You'll hear Vicki's voice in thousands of radio and TV ads coast-to-coast, and on IVR and message-on-hold systems for local and national businesses. She is married with three children, and is very active in volunteering for charitable organizations including Cystic Fibrosis, March of Dimes, Easter Seals, St. Joseph's Orphan Home, Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky and many others. Vicki enjoys playing tennis, guitar, drums, and singing.

Q: What’s your favorite Louisville restaurant and what do you eat there?
A: Varanese—keepin’ it local and I love the local, fresh ingredients, plus chef John is just awesome!
Q: What’s your favorite outdoor activity in Louisville?
A: Tennis! So many great adult and children’s leagues here in Louisville!
Q: What’s your guiltiest music pleasure?
A: Rolling Stones (I have seen them live 6 times!), Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith (yes I am a rocker…but Soft Rocker on Lite 106.9!) I also love to play guitar, drums, piano, harmonica, and I sing! Love karaoke, and I have played in bands since I was 16 years old!
Q: What movie can you quote from start to finish?
A: Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Airplane (I know cheesy and old, but classic!)
Q: You have one hour of TV to watch…what show do you tune in?
A: Right now I am into Homeland, The Voice, Modern Family and The Middle…also loving James Spader in his new show The Blacklist!!
Q: If you weren’t a radio personality for a career, what would you be doing?
A: A Physcian. I actually took an Anatomy course in college and worked on two cadavers! It was awesome, but Telecommunications was calling me! So now, my daughter is majoring in Molecular Biochemistry and is on the physician path…I will be living it through her, and I love it!
