TV Spotlight on Louisville

We know how good our food is in Louisville and the word is getting out fast! Here’s what’s going on in TV land.
Alton Brown in the Ville this November
The Kentucky Center recently accounted that Alton Brown’s “Edible Inevitable” is coming to Louisville. The show will include “comedy, quiz, lecture, puppet, talk, science, storytelling, and music show! Food will fly!” Puppets? Flying food? Sounds fun!
Here’s how you get tickets:
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. via The Kentucky Center’s website, by phone (502.584.7777), and in-person at the box office counter and drive-thru. Ticket prices start at $25, reserved seating, fees apply. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at $125. The VIP package includes Meet & Greet and photo opp with Alton, a pre-signed photo, and exclusive seating in the first three rows, dubbed the “poncho zone.”
Fun Fact: How did the Rud get it’s name? The 20 year young, old Louisville favorite is named after a poet who wrote the poem The Mother-Lodge. The poem celebrates a pub in colonial Indiana where every variety of person from soldiers, Muslims, Hindus, Irish folks, etc gathered and viewed each other with warmth and respect.
Eat Street is airing!
On June 10th at 8 pm Eat Street, “a lip-smacking celebration of North America’s tastiest, messiest and most irresistible street food” is featuring local food truck and burger geniuses the Grind and a little appearance by Megabites- that’s me! All airing on the cooking channel.
